Dear Street Sleepers
When I last wrote it
was whilst I was in the Pet Shop before the last Pet Shop, I
understand your lack of response is due to my change of residence
again. I have since found myself situated in a luxury home with two
new people that have claimed me as their family even named me Ham
after my favorite treat! I love it here at the moment, though my
weight has gone from lean and healthy to morbidly obese in such short
time but I just cant keep my whiskers out of the food bowl. I have a
cage mate he gets called Ed. He is very shy of his new people and
isn't settling in as quick. He seems somewhat sneaky in the things he
does. Always hunched over in a corner....like hes plotting a way to
steal my treats! I have tried to coax him out of his reserved shell
but he is refusing to become a Pet. I have yet to see the problem of
such a title and find that if I do as my owners ask I am rewarded
graciously. Street Sleepers my writing to you is to let you know
there is hope for all you ratties out there who have given up on a
true home. There are owners out there, just make sure you find the
right ones. I never got your last message. And whilst I intend on
sending this forward to you I have yet to find a carrier from my home
to you. Until then I will update you regularly.
Stay Safe.

Dear Street Sleepers
I hope this finds you
well fed and hopeful, I have been sleeping all day after a long night
of Food Pinata. Whats that? You ask... Well the lovely lady who takes
care of me and Ed filled what appears to be a sock (sadly it was
clean and has no interesting smells), with all sorts of yummy treats.
Some of it you have to take to a safe hideyplace to unwrap from paper
or nibble out of straws. But its great fun, especially since it hangs
from the bars and proves a challenge in getting to. Ed seems to be on
edge, he keeps watching my every move studying me. He actually tried
bullying me for food too, but I ain't gonna twitch my whiskers over
him. If he was really something to fear he would be out there with
the Vermillion. Anyway if you get this, know that I am content in my
living quarters and wish not to return to the streets. Send ear
nibbles and bruxes to my main rats.
Keep your tails clean
of trash.
